3 P's of Business
When it comes business there are a thousand variables that you can take into account. There are a thousand more scenarios you can consider in relation to the first thousand!
My experience in the business world has led me to believe it really boils down to 3 things. Of course, those pesky variables and scenarios will come into play but if you simply focus on 3 things your road to business success will be much smoother. In this presentation I share some candid stories about my time as a small business owner to illustrate the importance of the 3 P's.
PEOPLE
This piece is the most crucial and that is why I always talk about it first. One must consider the employees, customers, and vendors. Without great people there really is no way to create the place and manage the purse strings!
PLACE
It is more than just the physical structure. It is about the feeling of the business, it is about the energy that permeates the business. It is all of those things that create a sense of place that is conducive to a positive or negative place of business.
PURSE STRINGS
This area has the capacity to make you feel like you are walking among the clouds or crawling in quicksand in a blindfold. Managing the top and bottom lines while keeping an eye on debt is a good start to achieving business success. Nothing will change a course quicker than losing sight of the purse strings.
